DPDP Compliance

Valiant Engineering is committed to complying with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP), India’s comprehensive data protection law. This page explains how we uphold your rights under the DPDP and the measures we take to ensure lawful, transparent, and responsible handling of personal data.

Scope and Applicability

The DPDP applies to the processing of digital personal data within India. While Valiant Engineering does not collect personal data through user registration or accounts, we may process limited personal data automatically through website analytics, server logs, and cookies for operational and security purposes. This page outlines how we handle such data in compliance with the DPDP.

Your Rights Under the DPDP

Under the DPDP, you have the following rights:

  • Right to access your personal data held by us
  • Right to correction or updating of inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Right to withdraw consent for processing (where applicable)
  • Right to grievance redressal by contacting our Data Protection Officer

Note: The DPDP does not grant rights to deletion or portability in all cases — these are subject to legal exceptions and legitimate business purposes.

How We Comply

Valiant Engineering complies with the DPDP by:

  • Only collecting data necessary for website functionality and analytics
  • Not storing personal data beyond what is required for operational purposes
  • Implementing technical safeguards to protect data from unauthorized access
  • Ensuring all third-party service providers (e.g., analytics tools) comply with the DPDP
  • Designating a Data Protection Officer to handle rights requests

Data We Process

We may process the following types of digital personal data:

  • IP addresses (anonymized where possible)
  • Browser type and device information
  • Pages visited and time spent on site (via analytics tools)
  • Cookie identifiers (for session and preference management)

No personally identifiable information (e.g., name, email, phone) is collected unless voluntarily provided via our contact form.

Legal Basis for Processing

Under the DPDP, we rely on the following legal bases:

  • Legitimate interests — for website analytics and security monitoring
  • Consent — when you voluntarily submit information via our contact form

We do not process sensitive personal data, nor do we engage in profiling or automated decision-making.

How to Exercise Your Rights

To exercise your rights under the DPDP, please contact us via email at [email protected]. Include:

  1. Your full name
  2. The specific right you wish to exercise
  3. Any relevant details (e.g., IP address or date of interaction)

We will respond to your request within 30 days of receipt.

Response Timeframes

Under the DPDP, we are required to respond to your rights requests within 30 days. In complex cases, we may extend this by an additional 15 days and will notify you if this occurs.

No Discrimination Policy

We do not and will not deny goods or services, charge different prices, or provide a different level of service to you because you exercised your rights under the DPDP.

Updates and Changes

We may update this DPDP Compliance page periodically to reflect changes in law or our practices. Any material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
